Teaching and Mentoring

Since about 1997, I have served as lead developer on most of my projects, and mentored other developers during those projects. In addition, I have taught computer-programming courses in the classroom since 2002. Some examples:

  • Student Comments. Scans of comments I received on DeVry's anonymous student-feedback form, including objective comments (the students graded me on a 1-to-5 scale for various questions) and subjective comments (handwritten student evaluations of my performance) for several courses I taught at DeVry.
  • Lead CRM Developer. For one employer, I was hired to learn a particular programming environment, build and roll out our first software in that environment, and teach other developers how to program it. (Comments only; no documentation available.)
