Information Architecture
On some projects, my primary responsibilities were restricted to the behind-the-scenes
work of designing and building software, while other people worked on the
user interface. For example:
- A task scheduler. Basically,
a multi-user to-do list. Enabled managers to schedule employee tasks in
such a way that the tasks could only be completed in a certain order.
This allowed managers to ensure that a particular process was carried
out without skipping any steps, or completing a step before the appropriate
information had been made available to the reponsible employee.
